The Directorate for State Protection and Intelligence Service (DSN) has arrested a 35-year-old Russian citizen in Vienna who is suspected of having illegally sold 23 pistol grips and barrels made by Glock, SCT, and Lone Wolf for around 4,500 euros.

As the Interior Ministry announced on Monday, the man was already known to the DSN in connection with previous arms purchases and sales. A spokesperson for the Interior Ministry confirmed the arrest to the APA. The investigators accuse the 35-year-old of having purchased arms parts in Austria, illegally resold them, and in some cases sent them abroad by post.

At the center of the proceedings are 23 pistol grips and barrels made by Glock, SCT, and Lone Wolf, which are said to have been offered for around 4,500 euros. This places the case in the area that the authorities classify as trade in so-called non-essential weapons parts.
