After exiting in Champions League qualifying, AC Milan is searching for a new sporting director and, according to Italian media reports, is holding talks with Eintracht Frankfurt's sporting director Markus Krösche.
Things are pointing toward major personnel changes at Italian top-flight club AC Milan. After a disappointing season in which the Milan side missed out on the Champions League places in Serie A, head coach Massimiliano Allegri had to go. As a dpa report states, alongside head coach Massimiliano Allegri, the club's managing director, sporting director, and technical director also had to leave.
In filling a vacant leadership position, the Italians now apparently have their sights on Markus Krösche of Eintracht Frankfurt. This is reported by the sports newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport. According to the report, the 45-year-old, who still has a contract with the Hessen side until 2028, is one of the candidates for a position in AC Milan's club management.
