The case will now be processed both criminally and administratively. The Innsbruck Public Prosecutor's Office must decide whether and which charges will be brought against the teenager. In parallel, the Kufstein District Administration is examining what administrative consequences – such as a report or a revocation of the driving license – will be imposed.

Observers see the incident as another example of the risks of unapproved technical modifications to mopeds. Experts have long warned that a manipulated drive or altered speed limits significantly increase the risk of accidents.

The teenager was treated at Kufstein Hospital after the accident. According to current information, a transfer to the Innsbruck clinic was not necessary. The police emphasized that the investigations into the exact sequence of events are not yet complete.
