Background: Robberies on Cash Transport Vehicles

Robberies on cash transport vehicles are comparatively rare in Germany, but are classified by security authorities as particularly high-risk offences. In such cases, specialised investigators from the criminal police and crime scene units are often deployed to evaluate traces.

The police also asked that rumours and speculation on social networks not be spread further, as these could hinder the work of investigators. Anyone who can provide relevant information is asked to contact any police station or the responsible criminal police directly.
