Dutch chip equipment maker ASML on Wednesday in Veldhoven raised its revenue forecast for the current 2026 financial year once again and now expects revenue of 43 to 45 billion euros, driven by the artificial intelligence boom.
Chip equipment maker ASML expects even better business in the current year thanks to the artificial intelligence boom. Following a surprisingly strong quarter, CEO Christophe Fouquet raised his 2026 revenue target on Wednesday for the second time this year. For 2026, ASML's leadership now expects revenue of 43 to 45 billion euros, the company announced Wednesday in Veldhoven, Netherlands. Just in April, Fouquet had raised his forecast to 36 to 40 billion euros.
In the three months through the end of June, ASML increased its revenue surprisingly strongly to just over 9.3 billion euros, up from just under 8.8 billion in the first quarter. Analysts had expected only a modest increase. Gross margin rose from 53 to 54 percent, also exceeding expert expectations.
