Fehring, 03 July 2026
The Styrian printed circuit board manufacturer AT&S on Friday in Fehring heralded the expansion of its site and at the same time celebrated the 50th anniversary of the factory.
Around 30 million euros are to flow into the site by March 2027, including for better and more cleanrooms, new machines, a dedicated research department, a new apprentice workshop, as well as an "experience world" intended to open the plant to the public. The investment program had already been announced in February. AT&S CEO Michael Mertin described the expansion at the ceremony as "more than just series production" and said: "Develop together, invest together — there's no other way to do it in this industry anymore."
