The British police are currently investigating former Prince Andrew on multiple fronts, including possible sexual misconduct, as part of their ongoing probe into the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
Prince Andrew was arrested in February in connection with the scandal surrounding the late US sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who operated an abuse ring involving numerous underage girls and young women.
The police are also investigating reports that a woman was taken to an address in Windsor in 2010 for sexual purposes, according to official statements.
Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright stated that the offense of misconduct in public office can take various forms, including possible sexual misconduct.
