The "Made for Germany" initiative plans to meet with the federal government at the end of September to discuss further reforms, after its 139 member companies committed to investments of more than 800 billion euros by 2028.
Roughly one year after the first summit with Chancellor Friedrich Merz (CDU), the "Made for Germany" business initiative is preparing a follow-up meeting with the federal government. As dpa learned from circles close to the initiative, a meeting is planned in Berlin at the end of September. The focus is expected to be on the implementation so far of the reform package adopted at the beginning of July, as well as further reform steps.
