Croatian court orders pretrial detention for Ukrainian diver sought by Germany

Vladimir Z. is a Ukrainian diver whose identity partially matches that of a person sought in connection with the explosions that damaged the Nord Stream pipelines in the Baltic Sea. Germany issued an international arrest warrant as part of the investigation led by the Federal Prosecutor's Office (Bundesanwaltschaft) based in Karlsruhe, and Croatia proceeded with his arrest following an alert issued by Interpol.
