The Mistelbach-Gänserndorf State Clinic has received a Da Vinci surgical robot, which is scheduled to be used for the first time on 5 August. The system, which costs around one million euros per year, will be used in urology, general and visceral surgery, and gynecology.

At the Mistelbach-Gänserndorf State Clinic, a Da Vinci surgical robot has been presented at the new site. It is intended to support the first surgical procedures from 5 August 2026 and improve care in the region.

The Mistelbach-Gänserndorf State Clinic has presented a Da Vinci surgical robot at its new site. The system will initially be used in urology, general and visceral surgery, and gynecology. The Lower Austrian State Health Agency calculates costs of around one million euros per year and per robot. This is intended to guarantee the best possible care for patients, as was stated at the presentation.
