Following the violent death of a 25-year-old in an apartment in Innsbruck, the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) of Tyrol has appealed to the public for information, as the investigations have so far yielded no solid leads.
In the case of a violent crime that came to light on Thursday of last week in an apartment in Innsbruck, there is still no solid lead for the time being. As the State Criminal Police Office announced on Friday, it issued an "urgent appeal for witnesses to the public". According to reports, the 25-year-old had been stabbed by an unknown perpetrator during an altercation in the apartment and died several days later at the Innsbruck clinic.
What is known so far
According to investigators, they are specifically looking for persons who were in the area of Speckbacherstraße/Franz-Fischer-Straße on Thursday, June 25, between approximately 4:00 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. These individuals may have noticed "suspicious persons, conspicuous vehicles, screams, an altercation, or other unusual observations," as the LKA explained. A resident had also previously stated that he had "heard loud noises"; the whole thing had happened in a very short time.
