In drone attacks on warehouse facilities of the largest Russian online retailer Wildberries, eight employees were killed and several people injured, according to company statements; fires at the Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk locations led to operational disruptions.

Background

The company confirmed on Wednesday that its logistics sites had again been targeted in attacks last Saturday. Tatyana Kim announced today that the warehouses in the cities of Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk had been the targets. According to Russian accounts, the drone attacks were Ukrainian strikes.

Eight employees were killed in the process, the company further stated. Several people were injured. In addition, fires broke out at the warehouse locations, resulting in disruptions to operations. Wildberries is one of the most important online mail-order retailers in Russia.
