In a nighttime Ukrainian drone attack on the Moscow region, ten people were injured in various cities and fires broke out from falling debris in Podolsk and Domodedovo, according to regional governor Andrey Vorobyov.
Scale of the Attack
Ukraine attacked Russia with hundreds of drones overnight. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 381 Ukrainian drones were intercepted over Russian territory and the Black Sea peninsula of Crimea during the night. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin had previously written on Telegram of more than 400 drones flying toward the Moscow region since the evening. "A large portion of them were shot down well before Moscow."
The governor of the Moscow region, Andrey Vorobyov, wrote on Telegram of ten injured in various cities, fires, and damage. In Domodedovo alone, a city also located around 40 kilometers south of Moscow, there were seven injured according to Vorobyov. Six of them were taken to hospital, including three Chinese nationals.
