Dresden, June 12, 2026
Dynamo Dresden on Friday filed a timely appeal against the ruling issued by the DFB Sports Court after the riots at the second-division match against Hertha BSC on April 4.
As the club announced, the appeal is directed against the sanctions imposed by the DFB Sports Court following the incidents surrounding the match in Dresden. During Hertha's 1:0 victory in Dresden on April 4, there was, among other things, a massive use of pyrotechnics and riots in the inner area. Police had to intervene, and the match was interrupted for a long time.
