Erzgebirge Aue celebrates first season win in the Regionalliga Nordost

Mateusz Mika and Tim Maciejewski, who had been repeatedly named in the previews as key players, were on the pitch along with the other regulars. The interplay in midfield and out wide was visibly more fluid than in the first game of the season.

The opponents, Tasmania Berlin, had recorded mixed results in the previous season and in the early going this term and had travelled as an uncomfortable opponent. Aue, however, were not unsettled by that and worked a clear chances advantage over the course of the match.
