Farmer in Styria killed by his own cattle herd

The Graz public prosecutor's office emphasized that the case shows no indications of third-party involvement. Based on the current state of the investigation, it is a tragic occupational accident in the context of daily agricultural work. Investigators are continuing to examine whether all safety standards on the farm were complied with.

The farmer's body was released for a forensic medical examination. The family was cared for by police and a crisis intervention team. The municipality of Buch-St. Magdalena announced that it would offer support to the bereaved in the coming days.
