The Federal Interior Ministry is planning, according to Federal Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt, a protective shield against drone flights, cyberattacks, and acts of sabotage, responding to a series of incidents at German airports.

Federal Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt has announced that his ministry will develop a comprehensive protection concept against hybrid threats. The goal is to better secure airports, critical infrastructure, and government agencies against drones, cyberattacks, and sabotage. Speaking in Berlin, the minister described a "daily reality" that requires decisive action by the security authorities.

Using this justification, he advocated for rapid legislative and technical measures to increase the response capabilities of the security forces.
