In the anniversary year of the Austrian Lotteries, no six-number match was achieved again on Wednesday, meaning that for the first time in lotto history, an eightfold jackpot will be drawn, with around twelve million euros in the pot on Sunday.
On Wednesday, the Austrian public took on what was the ninth sevenfold jackpot overall, with 6.7 million entries submitted. However, the correct six-number combination of 4, 14, 27, 32, 38, and 45 was not among them. This means the streak without a top prize continues into the next round, and the tension ahead of Sunday's draw is mounting.
According to initial estimates, around twelve million euros will be at stake on Sunday. This represents an amount that is unique in the history of Austrian lotto for a single draw. Whoever submits the winning ticket secures a historic prize.
