In the southern French town of Fleurance on Friday, relatives, schoolmates, and numerous citizens bid farewell to eleven-year-old Lyhanna, whose body had been found in a grain silo six days after her disappearance.

The funeral service took place in the afternoon at the cemetery of the small town of Fleurance in the Gers department, as reported by the news agency AFP. A portrait of the girl had been set up at the entrance to the cemetery. At the town hall of Fleurance, flags were flying at half-mast. „Au balcon de la mairie de Fleurance, les drapeaux étaient en berne, vendredi 12 juin, ont constaté des journalistes de l'AFP“, it was noted.
