Wiesbaden, 07 August 2026
According to the Federal Statistical Office, more goods were exported from Germany in June 2026 than in any other month before, on a calendar- and seasonally-adjusted basis.
Record High Thanks to China and the EU
The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reported on Thursday in Wiesbaden that calendar- and seasonally-adjusted exports reached a new all-time high in June 2026. "Noch nie wurden in einem Monat kalender- und saisonbereinigt so viele Waren exportiert wie im Juni 2026", the authority stated. This surpassed the previous best figure from the preceding month.
According to the information, the growth was supported, among other things, by sharply increased deliveries to the People's Republic of China as well as to several European neighboring countries. Demand from these regions had noticeably revived after a subdued start to the year, according to the statistics authority. Deliveries to the USA and the United Kingdom also developed positively, it said.
