Austrian startup investor Hansi Hansmann has rebranded his venture vehicle as the Hansmann Family Office, which now manages €150 million in assets alongside co-lead Lisa Pallweber.

The Hansmann Family Office takes over from the Hans(wo)men Group, a structure Hansmann introduced in 2022 to back female founders more actively. "Aus Hans(wo)men Group wird das Hansmann Family Office," the team said in announcing the change. The office now combines direct venture-capital investments with fund commitments, private equity, real estate and a dedicated philanthropy stream.

Direct venture capital remains the centrepiece of the strategy. "Neben Direct Venture Capital, das weiterhin das Herzstück, mit Investments europaweit ab der Pre-Seed-Phase bleibt," Hansmann said, explaining that the team works from pre-seed onwards and across Europe. The portfolio already contains more than 100 direct investments, more than 50 active holdings and more than 25 limited-partner positions in venture funds, including vehicles in Austria, the UK, the US, Germany and Israel.
