The direct bank ING Deutschland is preparing to launch its own credit card and plans to bring it to market ahead of the Christmas season.
With the planned credit card, ING Deutschland is expanding its product range in the German retail banking business and responding to growing demand for flexible payment methods in online retail. The Dutch parent company, ING Group, is thereby consistently pursuing its strategy of expanding its digital banking business in Germany.
Current conditions for the current account
Under the conditions currently in effect, the ING Deutschland current account is only kept free of charge if either at least 1,000 euros are credited to the account each month or the account holder is under 28 years of age. Otherwise, a monthly account maintenance fee applies.
