According to a new survey by the Hamburg-based Körber Foundation, 65 percent of parents want more information to recognize misinformation as well as AI-generated images and videos.
The representative survey was conducted by the opinion research institute Forsa on behalf of the Körber Foundation. At its center is the question of how parents assess the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in everyday family life and where they see a need for support.
The results show widespread uncertainty in dealing with new digital content. Many respondents said they do not feel sufficiently informed when it comes to distinguishing manipulated or artificially generated content from real recordings. AI-generated images and videos, so-called deepfakes, are a particular source of concern for many parents.
