A New Mexico judge has ordered Meta to pay $567 million into a state-administered fund aimed at supporting children's mental health programs, following the second phase of a lawsuit that had sought fundamental changes to the company's platform practices.

The order directs Meta to deposit the sum into a fund overseen by the state, with proceeds earmarked for children's mental health initiatives. The judge also signaled that additional structural remedies could follow in later phases of the case.
