A 69-year-old motorcyclist was killed on Friday in a head-on collision on the B69 in Styria.

Course of the accident on the B69

According to current findings, the accident occurred on the B69, a federal road in the south of Styria, in the area of the municipality of Soboth. The motorcyclist collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle for reasons that have not yet been clarified. Any help came too late for the 69-year-old; he died at the scene of the accident.

The Red Cross was deployed and could only determine the death of the man. The fire brigade secured the scene of the accident and supported the recovery operations. The B69 had to be completely closed in the affected section for the duration of the operation.
