Schwerin, 15 June 2026
The parliamentary committee of inquiry of the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania concerning the right-wing terrorist cell NSU has, after almost five years of work, presented its final report and formulated nearly three dozen recommendations to the police, judiciary, and intelligence services.
The report was presented on Monday in Schwerin, but is officially still under embargo and is to be formally handed over to the state parliament in July. As the Left Party's parliamentary counsel, Noetzel, announced, the body formulated after almost five years of work around three dozen recommendations to the police, judiciary, and intelligence services. The SPD, Left Party, and Greens hold the majority on the committee.
