Nvidia and a consortium of large US investment firms are mobilizing $500 billion to build financing platforms for AI computing infrastructure, according to analyst commentary circulated on Tuesday.
The financing plan, disclosed in research distributed on Tuesday, envisions $500 billion in funding flowing into platforms designed to underwrite AI compute capacity. Analyst Srini Pajjuri wrote that the partnership between the chipmaker and a group of large US investment firms "festige die Position von Nvidia-Grafikprozessoren (GPUs) als Anlageklasse weiter," or further cements the position of Nvidia graphics processing units as an asset class.
