Berlin, 01 July 2026
Graphics card manufacturer Nvidia is selling the RTX 3060 with 12 GB of video memory on the market again from July 2026, even though the model was originally announced in January 2021.
The reintroduced variant is based on the Ampere architecture and is technically unchanged from the original. „Ansonsten bleibt die Grafikkarte unverändert", the report states. According to Asus, the cards are manufactured from new supply allocations and not from remaining stock, and are listed from about 335 euros at large retailers such as Galaxus, Computeruniverse, Mindfactory, Cyberport, and Alternate. The recommended retail price is around 340 US dollars or 350 euros, according to retailer information.
The reintroduction goes back to an idea from Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. Back in May, leakers had drawn attention to concrete hints of a comeback for the RTX 3060. Nvidia is thereby manufacturing a graphics card that is more than five years old again. The RTX 3060 was originally announced in January 2021 and went on sale the following month.
