Strong Fee and Commission Business as Growth Driver

The Upper Austrian Oberbank achieved a significant earnings increase in the first half of 2026. As the institution announced on Wednesday, profit rose to around 199 million euros. According to the bank, this was mainly due to strong fee and commission business and a higher investment income.

In its fee and commission business, Oberbank recorded significant growth. The institution benefits, among other things, from business development in the German and Hungarian markets, where the bank has been expanding for years. Traditional interest business also developed stably, while cost development remained within expectations.
