Aston Villa claimed the Europa League title with a 3-0 victory over SC Freiburg in the final held at Besiktas Park in Istanbul on Wednesday.

The English side dominated from the start, with Youri Tielemans opening the scoring in the 41st minute with a spectacular volley. Emiliano Buendia doubled the lead just before halftime with a stunning strike from 20 meters.

Morgan Rogers sealed the victory in the 58th minute, tapping in a cross from Buendia to make it 3-0. Despite efforts from Freiburg, including a near-miss from Nicolas Höfler, the German team couldn't break through Villa's defense.

The win marks Aston Villa's first international trophy since their 1982 European Cup victory. For Freiburg, the loss ends their dream of a first major European title.
