Another resident, Janin Nordengrün, described the moment they learned of the danger: 'Someone came and said we should all go to our garden sheds - there's a tiger loose.'

The public prosecutor's office has initiated proceedings against the 52-year-old German owner on suspicion of negligent bodily harm by omission. Authorities are examining whether proper safety measures were in place at the facility.
