A 34-year-old police trainee fell into a waterfall on Wednesday, July 15, at around 12:00 p.m. on the Stuibenfall via ferrata in Umhausen, Tyrol, for reasons that remain unclear. A large-scale search operation was subsequently launched.

As reported by the Tyrol State Police Directorate, the accident occurred on Wednesday (July 15) at around 12:00 p.m. during alpine training on the Stuibenfall via ferrata in Umhausen. The 34-year-old was attempting to cross the rope bridge over the Stuibenfall when she slipped for reasons that remain unclear and fell into the waterfall.
An extensive search operation was launched immediately after the accident. Multiple rescue teams are currently searching for the missing woman. The rescue and search efforts are still ongoing.
