Strong Response from the Public and Administration

The planned new university campus at Brauhausberg in Potsdam is generating significant public interest. As the city and the state of Brandenburg announced, a total of 77 submissions were received as part of the early public participation. Of these, 36 came from authorities, with the remainder from members of the public.

Minister-President Dietmar Woidke (SPD) welcomed the participation as a positive signal: "Das große Interesse der Bürgerinnen und Bürger zeigt, wie sehr ihnen die Entwicklung der Stadt und des Brauhausberges am Herzen liegt." Potsdam's Mayor Noosha Aubel (independent) also underscored the importance of the project. "Unser Ziel ist ein nachhaltiger und lebendiger Campus, der sich zur Stadt öffnet, in sie ausstrahlt und damit eine Bereicherung für ganz Potsdam wird," she said.
