Red Bull Salzburg confirms Yeo move to Wales – Mazurek joins the squad

For Salzburg, the departure of the attacking player is part of the already busy squad planning during the summer. International Experience

With the move to Wales, a chapter comes to a close for Yeo that was shaped above all by the heavy workload in European competition. In the Conference League, the third UEFA competition, Salzburg had regularly used the player; in February, his Salzburg squad teammate Mazurek, incidentally, scored a hat-trick against the Polish representative in the same competition in a 4:2 away win at AC Fiorentina.

The 19-year-old, born on 28 May 2007, had increasingly drawn attention to himself over the past season. With his appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga and on the international stage, he recommended himself for a new challenge, which is now being offered to him in Great Britain.

New Station in Wales

At Swansea City, based on the south coast of Wales, Yeo joins a club with a long tradition. The club was once a top-flight side and a founding member of the Premier League in 1992, and currently plays in the English second division. With an eye on a possible return to the Premier League, the Welsh side are looking to strengthen in the attacking areas.
