FC Red Bull Salzburg has officially confirmed the transfer of Moussa Yeo to Swansea City in England's second division in Wales.
Moussa Yeo's move is now wrapped up. The attacking player leaves the Austrian top club after three years and joins Swansea City, a club based in the English second division, the so-called Championship. The confirmation came on Wednesday, as reported from Salzburg.
In 70 appearances for the financial Bundesliga heavyweight, as Salzburg is often described in domestic reporting, Yeo recorded nine goals and seven assists. The record shows a player who could be deployed variably in attack and regularly received playing time in Red Bull Salzburg's squad.

Sporting director Marcus Mann, who holds overall sporting leadership at Salzburg, put the transfer into perspective. Speaking to the media, he said: "Zeit für einen nächsten Schritt". With this wording, he indicated that the move to another top-flight league represented a sporting progression for Yeo.
