Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan presented participants of the NATO summit in Ankara with personalized revolvers along with ammunition and personal export licenses, causing unusual scenes among several delegations.

The heads of state and government of NATO countries had gathered on Tuesday and Wednesday for a NATO summit in the Turkish capital Ankara. The meeting focused on Ukraine, the Iran war, and the Europeans' relationship with US President Donald Trump. At the conclusion, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan presented each guest with a revolver engraved with their name, several rounds of ammunition, and an export license signed by Erdoğan personally.
