The Rome prosecutors' office has registered Israel's Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir as a suspect in an investigation regarding alleged torture and kidnapping in connection with the arrest of Sumud Flotilla activists.

As several news agencies report in agreement, the Italian judiciary is investigating Ben Gvir. The judiciary is pursuing allegations of torture and kidnapping of Italian citizens. For weeks, the Rome prosecutors have been conducting an investigation examining, among other things, the offenses of torture and unlawful deprivation of liberty, as emerges from the documents of the Procura di Roma.
