In the center of the three-million city, well over half a dozen explosions were heard according to official information. The detonations were spread across several city districts, as local authorities reported. There were initially no conclusive details available regarding possible casualties and damage to residential buildings or infrastructure.
Use of ballistic missiles
In the attack, Russia deployed ballistic missiles according to Ukrainian assessments.
