Russia struck Ukraine with a barrage of 73 missiles and 656 drones overnight, killing at least 11 people and injuring more than 60 across Kyiv, Dnipro, and Kharkiv, with residents trapped under rubble in multiple damaged residential buildings.

Ukraine's air force said the overnight barrage included 73 missiles and 656 drones launched at targets across the country. Ukrainian air defense forces reported that they destroyed or suppressed 40 missiles and 602 drones. Even with that interception effort, hits from 30 ballistic missiles, three cruise missiles, and 33 drones were recorded at at least 38 locations, and debris from destroyed drones fell on 15 additional sites, according to the air force.
