Attack on the Golden Leo

The Ukrainian Navy said on Sunday that Russia had fired three cruise missiles at the "Golden Leo" as the grain-laden freighter was in the process of "leaving the combat zone." The vessel was sailing under the flag of Guinea-Bissau, the Navy said. Five crew members were killed in the attack.

Massive wave of attacks on Kyiv

The Ukrainian Navy described it as "another targeted attack by Russia against an unarmed civilian ship under a foreign flag that posed no military threat whatsoever." The "Golden Leo" had been on its way to leave the sea area off the Ukrainian Black Sea coast.
