The Russian online retailer Wildberries has evacuated a logistics center in the Ryazan Oblast following a drone attack. The company is one of the largest online marketplaces in Russia and operates warehouse locations distributed throughout the country. Eyewitnesses reported fires on the facility's grounds, but independent confirmations of the attacks on Russian targets were not initially available.
The Ryazan Oblast lies southeast of Moscow and is home to several militarily relevant facilities. In recent months, Ukrainian drones have repeatedly struck targets in the Russian rear, particularly energy facilities and logistics hubs. Wildberries is one of the few Russian corporations that has been able to largely maintain its operations despite Western sanctions.
