According to its own statements, Ukraine struck a warehouse of the Russian online retailer Wildberries in Volgograd with drones and justified the attack with the sale of military goods via the platform.
Ukraine attacked a warehouse of Russian online retailer Wildberries in Volgograd with drones. Kyiv stated that the platform is also used to trade military goods such as FPV drones, armor plates, and flak vests for Russian soldiers at the front. The attack should therefore be understood as a legitimate target within the framework of the defensive struggle against Russia.
Wildberries announced via the messaging service Telegram that no employees were injured in the attack. The company stated: "so das Unternehmen auf Telegram". In doing so, the group departed from its usual silence on military incidents and responded directly to reports from Kyiv.
