Korinna Schumann has advocated for the Public Employment Service (AMS) to continue providing disproportionately higher funding for women and sees potential among older workers as well.
The AMS board member Korinna Schumann has advocated for the Public Employment Service (AMS) to continue funding women with a significantly higher share of resources than would correspond to their share of unemployment. Specifically, she cited a difference of at least four percentage points.
Speaking in Vienna on Monday, Schumann pointed out that the employment potential among women and older workers remains significant. She argued that targeted support for these groups could relieve pressure on the Austrian labor market.
