Two elevators collapsed at a construction site in central Brussels on Tuesday, killing six people; the public prosecutor's office is investigating against unknown persons into the cause.

According to initial findings, two elevators fell at a centrally located construction site in the Belgian capital on Tuesday. A spokesperson for the public prosecutor's office had said on Tuesday that the two elevators had plunged several stories downward. Earlier, six bodies had been found in the first elevator.

In the course of the incident, a fire also broke out, as the investigating authorities reported. In addition, there was a fire. Emergency crews have since been able to open the second cabin following the collapse of the elevators at a construction site in Brussels and have found no further victims.
