SK hynix Plans Billion-Dollar Listing on Nasdaq, Matching the SpaceX IPO

The planned IPO would, measured by volume, be the second largest in history. According to the available information, the only larger comparable case is the SpaceX IPO in June 2026, with a volume of $85.7 billion. Even the 2019 Aramco IPO and the 2014 Alibaba listing, both cited as reference benchmarks, would fall short of the SK hynix volume.

Dave Mazza, CEO of asset manager Roundhill, classified the move as a strategic step: "SK Hynix is one of the most significant companies in the world, one in which most US investors could not easily hold shares."
