Slovakia's special unit for combating organized crime (UBOK) investigated a possible attack on a drone factory in Slovakia following tips from the Slovak and military intelligence services.

According to investigators, the case was handled on the basis of information provided by the Slovak domestic intelligence service SIS and the military intelligence service. As the authorities stated, the suspicion was directed against several individuals accused of preparatory acts for an attack on the production facility.

According to media reports, the plant employs around 70 workers. The factory reportedly manufactures drones intended for use in Ukraine. Against this backdrop, the facility had come into the focus of Russian intelligence services, it was said.
