Three people were killed in suspected Houthi attacks on a cargo ship in the Red Sea, according to sources cited by the British maritime security authority UKMTO.
Location of the Attack
According to sources, three people died in the attacks. The cargo ship was reportedly hit by several unknown projectiles 40 nautical miles (approximately 74 kilometers) southeast of the Yemeni port city of Mokha. The UKMTO reported the incident on Monday.
The British maritime security authority (UKMTO) stated that it had learned of the strike on the ship. The exact nationality of the victims and the crew was not initially made public. The cargo ship's operator also declined to comment on the incident at first.
