British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has warned of a possible Russian attack on a NATO state within the next four years, according to Western intelligence assessments.

Background to the Warning

During a visit to a drone manufacturer in Southwest England, Starmer said on Friday that British intelligence services and partner countries within the alliance shared this assessment. "It is our intelligence assessment and the assessment of other countries in Nato that there could be an attack by Russia on Nato as soon as 2030", the Prime Minister stated. He was referring to a concrete threat situation that went beyond short-term tensions.
