A 41-year-old Hungarian citizen is suspected of having broken into a room that was not hers in a hotel in Salzburg's Andräviertel on Sunday evening and stealing 800 euros from another guest's wallet.

The incident occurred in a hotel in the Andräviertel district of the city of Salzburg. According to the Salzburg police, the alleged perpetrator unlawfully obtained a room key and subsequently entered a room that was not hers. There, she reportedly stole 800 euros from another hotel guest's wallet.

According to police, the woman was caught in the act. An attentive hotel guest noticed the unauthorized presence in the room and immediately informed the reception desk and the hotel's security personnel, who in turn alerted the police. The 41-year-old was apprehended in the hotel or in its immediate vicinity.
