Three sisters of Syrian origin, aged 8, 10, and 13, have been missing from Oebisfelde in the Börde district since Friday morning, prompting a police search and a public appeal for information.
The Disappearance
The missing children were last seen on Friday morning in Oebisfelde, a town in the Börde district of Saxony-Anhalt. Authorities were alerted and have since been conducting an intensive search.
Police have identified the girls as 13-year-old Sabah A., 10-year-old Janat E., and their 8-year-old sister Ghofran E. The family is of Syrian heritage.
According to the police description, Sabah A. is approximately 1.60 meters tall and has a very slim build. Janat E. is about 1.30 meters tall and of normal stature.
