The Vienna Regional Court acquitted all ten defendants on Wednesday in the trial concerning a group attack on four young men at the water park in Vienna-Floridsdorf in November 2025. The public prosecutor's office waived its right to appeal, making the verdict final.

Charges and Allegations
Court spokesperson Christina Salzborn confirmed the acquittals to the Austria Presse Agentur (APA). The ten male defendants, aged between 15 and 27, were released from custody following the verdict. The public prosecutor's office waived its right to appeal, making the verdict legally binding.
On November 19, 2025, according to the indictment, around 30 Syrians attacked their victims with sticks, brass knuckles, a blank-firing pistol, pepper spray, and knives. Several of the four young men were seriously injured in the attack. The public prosecutor's office charged the men with grievous bodily harm, with some only accused of contributory acts and others only of attempted offenses. The youngest defendant also faced a charge of attempted murder.
